About

About Us

Aquila is a multiplatform production/post-production company combining design, visuals, web and interactive in a creative and innovative way.

We have been a feature of the Midlands media scene for the past 15 years. Our clients range from major broadcasters to corporate and public sectors as well as freelance filmmakers. We have been involved in all forms of production and have a keen eye on current trends. Our experience ranges across light entertainment, feature films, documentaries, corporate films for conferences or the web.

Part of our key focus is to raise Birmingham’s profile as a destination for digital and interactive commissioning. We aim to achieve this by making links and creating a network of contacts by encouraging collaborative work. Diversity of projects is also important for us, which is why we are always open for new ideas and potential partnerships.

Aquila is headed up by technical ninja Nat Higginbottom, after taking ownership of the company in 2007. He has diversified Aquila’s services to include  event management, originated production and feature filmmaking.

With a team of dedicated, talented professionals at the ready, Nat feels that it is time that Aquila looks beyond its original ambitions and reaches further to help ensure the stability, creativity and diversity of the industry in the Region.

We are quiet perfectionists and enjoy the challenges of our field.
