Aquila was at Sandwell College’s annual fashion show. The event, which took place in June, 18 models – all first and second year students on the BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design and BTEC National Diploma in Fashion and Clothing – showcasing their peers’ latest and innovative designs. This year’s exclusive themes include: a candy pink and white female geometric dress collection based on Pop, Art and the Psychedelic 60s; a cream and gold women’s Egyptian dress collection inspired by Queen Nefertitti and Cleopatra; and classic tailoring with a twist influenced by surrealist artists such as Salvador Dali and Melting Clocks.
